Stolen books returned

Masset councillor Brent Buell wants to thank the person who returned $346 worth of brand new nursing books stolen from his wife's vehicle several months ago.
Mr. Buell said it's a complete mystery how and why the books were returned, but he's very happy about it.
He found the books on the hood of his car last week, in the priority post box they arrived in. The box hadn't been opened but was wet and worn, he said.
The weird thing is that there was no address label on the box to indicate who it belonged to, he said, and the car the person left the box on is not the same car it was stolen from.
"All I know is, there's a good Samaritan out there," he said.
