The Grade 12 students of Queen Charlotte Secondary School are busy organizing their own grad ceremony this year. With the teacher strike continuing, there’s no teacher sponsoring the grads, and although there are a few helping out, it’s mostly being organized by the graduating students themselves. The graduation ceremony is Saturday June 9, at 2 pm at the school for the grads and their invited guests. Afterwards the grads will be having their own family dinners, but there is a group dinner for all grads and their families at the Fall Fair in Tlell grounds after exams, said Student Organizer Heidi Richardson. Masset’s GM Dawson grad will be held on Saturday June 23.
