Swine flu vaccine clinics this week

The Queen Charlotte hospital is offered swine flu vaccine on Tuesday afternoon, the first on-island community to have the vaccine available.Hospital administrator Kerry Laidlaw said more vaccine clinics are upcoming, see below. Everyone is welcome to attend the clinic.According to Northern Health, swine flu vaccine will also be available as follows; Massett Health Centre Wednesday Oct. 28 from 1 to 9 pm and Thursday Oct. 29 from 9 am to noon.Tlell, fire hall, Wednesday Oct. 28, 11 am to 2 pmPort Clements, the vaccine is available at the health clinic on Thursday Oct. 29 from 2 to 6 pm. Sandspit, the vaccine is available at the health centre on Friday Oct. 30 from 10 to noon and 1 to 4 pm, and again on Tuesday Nov. 3, same hours.Queen Charlotte, it will be available again on Oct. 30, all day, from 9 am until 7 pm, at the health centre.Northern Health says this is not the only opportunity to receive the vaccine and that more clinics will be held on the islands in coming weeks.
