Three candidates elected

Old Massett residents have elected three councillors to village council in an election held Monday (Dec. 3). Buster Bell, Cecil Brown and Daniel Matthews were all elected. They will serve until December 2014.Two hundred and fifty-four votes were cast, and there were nine spoiled ballots, according to Chief Electoral Officer Miranda Young.Complete results are as follows:Cecil Brown-133Buster Bell-129Daniel Matthews-111Judy Williams-108Richard Smith Jr. 107Terry Hamilton-75
