Three people have put their names forward to be the new regional district director for Moresby Island, or Area E.Duane Gould, Dana Northcott and Evan Putterill, all of Sandspit, are running for the position.The by-election will be held Aug. 29, with advance voting on Aug. 19.Previous regional district director Travis Glasman resigned in June to take on new duties as the economic development officer for the Misty Isles Economic Development Society.
