Get out your fishing rods and get ready to cast!? Sandspit's Trout Derby is this Sunday (May 19) from 8 am to 4 pm at Mosquito Lake. It's open to all ages, but you must have a fishing license. There will also be free hot dogs and juice for the kids, and coffee for the adults.There are categories for all ages from 5 and up. Winners in each category get a trophy presented by volunteers Jack and Alvilda Diebold, who are running the derby. It's sponsored by the Rod and Gun Club. Good luck!
