Two charged in Skidegate drug raid

Queen Charlotte RCMP found crack cocaine, marijuana, and cash during a search of a suspected “drug house” in Skidegate early Wednesday morning (July 27). Sgt. Rob Knapton said the RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in the 100 block of Second Avenue. Three residents were arrested as a result of the search, and police seized a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, cash and paraphernalia. The residents were later released from police custody. Sgt. Knapton said charges have been forwarded against one adult male and one adult female.
