Two charged in Skidegate drug raid

Queen Charlotte RCMP found crack cocaine, marijuana, and cash during a search of a suspected "drug house" in Skidegate early Wednesday morning (July 27).Sgt. Rob Knapton said the RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in the 100 block of Second Avenue. Three residents were arrested as a result of the search, and police seized a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, cash and paraphernalia.The residents were later released from police custody. Sgt. Knapton said charges have been forwarded against one adult male and one adult female.
