Police arrested two men Friday in Sandspit for assaulting a woman.
The woman and one of the men charged were in a relationship, and alcohol was a factor, says Cst. Norm Leger of the Queen Charlotte detachment. The assault occurred at 3:30 am Friday morning. Later that morning, the woman called police and provided a statement, after which the men were arrested.
They will be charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats, says Cst. Leger.
