The Women's Centre in Queen Charlotte was packed on Friday for the open house and book sale. Delicious food and a tantalizing selection of books greeted guests, as the public was invited to come and browse the new location across from Sears in Queen Charlotte. Despite funding cuts by the province, the Women's Society is still going strong and offers several women's services.
